Can a Content Creator Replace a Videographer at My Wedding?

I get this question often, and my answer is always, "It depends; what is most important to you when it comes to video coverage of your wedding day?"

If having a high-quality video with high-quality audio captured on a professional camera is really important to you, please do not skip out on hiring the videographer. I would hate for couples to regret not hiring one if this is extremely important to them.

However, if high-quality video coverage is not a must-have in your eyes or is out of budget, a content creator is an alternative option to a traditional wedding videographer. Many couples come to me wanting video coverage of their big day, but a videographer is out of budget, or they want a more untraditional, candid, BTS style of filming and understand their day will be captured on an iPhone.

I firmly believe couples should have their wedding 100% their way. After all, it's your big day, and you deserve to have all the vendors that align with your dreams and vision. I am here to educate, listen, and guide you to make the best choice for your unique wedding and budget. I genuinely want the best for my couples. And if budget allows, your videographer and me as your content creator will work hand in hand to provide lots of coverage of your big day. These are two separate services and do not conflict with one another. There is power and value in both vendors.
