Frequently Asked Questions

What is a wedding content creator?

A wedding content creator captures both candid and unscripted video and photos as well as the more significant moments like your ceremony, first look, speeches, and more using an iPhone. Most importantly, we capture the moments most important to you! Our goal is to ensure you have a gallery of photos, videos, and ready-to-post content ready for you to begin reliving the next day.

Here’s why many couples choose to work with us:

  • They want video coverage of their wedding day, but a videographer is out of budget.

  • They want an extensive gallery of videos that cover every moment of their wedding day.

  • They want to avoid photographer/videographer turnaround times and see hundreds of photos and videos of their wedding day the day after.

  • They want a highlight reel of their wedding day.

  • They want to capture their day from a unique, modern BTS POV.

  •  They want a guest video memory album… this is where I go and interview as many guests as possible about memories, best wishes, and more.

  • And much more!

Why should I hire a wedding content creator?

The random conversation with your grandmother after your ceremony, you and your bridesmaids jamming out to "Going to the Chapel, "those last final deep breaths before walking down the aisle to your forever. We capture all your special moments. It's one of the best days of your life, and you deserve to be fully present and take it all in, unplugged. When all is said and done, all you have left are the memories and your person. Think of us as the friend you appointed to capture all the BTS of your wedding day but with experience , training, and high-quality devices and gear.

What does the process look like?

Once I confirm your date is available, I will send our packages over, and we will work together to understand your vision and ensure the package you select aligns with your budget and what's most important to you. I am also more than happy to create custom packages, as many couples' goals for capturing their wedding day sometimes fall outside our standard packages. All weddings are unique and deserve to be treated as such! I will send you a quote, and should you decide to move forward, we require a deposit and a signed contract.

How do you work with other vendors?

From experience, my approach is to let your photographer and/or videographer lead the way; I grab shots from a BTS perspective or grab the shot once your other vendors are done. Unlike a videographer, I also focus on capturing video clips of the in-between, often missed moments… I have a hawk's eye for the little moments and ensure I capture them all while covering the more significant moments like your first look. We all serve unique roles and work together on your wedding day to form a media team focused on capturing your love perfectly and seamlessly! I am experienced with working with other vendors and am always and forever committed to remaining out of their way. I am self-aware and respectful of other vendors.

Can a wedding content creator replace a videographer?

I get this question often, and my answer is always, "It depends; what is most important to you when it comes to video coverage of your wedding day?"

If having a high-quality video with high-quality audio captured on a professional camera is really important to you, please do not skip out on hiring the videographer. I would hate for couples to regret not hiring one if this is extremely important to them.

However, if high-quality video coverage is not a must-have in your eyes or is out of budget, a content creator is an alternative option to a traditional wedding videographer. Many couples come to me wanting video coverage of their big day, but a videographer is out of budget, or they want a more untraditional, candid, BTS style of filming and understand their day will be captured on an iPhone.

If your budget allows for both a content creator and a videographer, AMAZING! I love working with videographers.

Are you willing to capture content for other vendors?

OF COURSE! I love capturing other wedding vendors doing what they do best. It is a gift to capture the passion, craft, and unique personality each individual brings to their work. There is truly nothing like having social first footage showcasing your talent and work because it takes the guesswork out of “Ugh, what do I post on Instagram?” I’ve got you with a gallery and even ready to post content if you would instead not think about creating reels or TikToks.

Nowadays, your social media is your portfolio—in fact, most couples I chat with report they search social media first to find wedding vendors. If you are a vendor wanting to capture some video clips and iPhone photos for your Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook, feel free to PM me, and we can find a date to shoot your work!

What types of events do you serve?

Weddings (of course!), rehearsal dinners, elopements, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, engagement parties, birthday parties, special events, corporate events, and more. We love ALL celebrations and love to capture them.

What areas do you service?

I commonly provide wedding content creation services to couples in all areas of Northern Virginia, D.C., Charlottesville, and Richmond. However, I am open to travel!
